Throughout the year, the city hosts several events focused on geek culture. The biggest of these, without a doubt, is Comic(Con) Floripa. Unfortunately, there is still no forecast for the event to take place in 2025. 

As it is a version of the famous international Comic-Con, the focus is on comics, cosplay, films and series. The last edition took place in 2022 and brought together more than 3 thousand people in the capital of Santa Catarina.

Stun Game Festival

The biggest gaming industry event in the South is confirmed for this year. The Stun Game Festival has a schedule with broad programming, mainly with eSports championships, games from major producers, launches, workshops, artist fairs, cosplay contests and much more. 

Thaynan Mariano, one of the event organizers, points out that “the gaming industry has evolved a lot in recent years, as has the event that contributes to the Santa Catarina ecosystem”.

The event hosts several eSports tournaments bringing together professional and amateur athletes, with highlights including League of Legends and Free Fire.

 In addition to games, Stun hosts a meeting of game developers and creators. There is also space for board games and card games. 

Geek Tour

In the year 2024, this was the largest open-air event in Florianópolis, and the event is expected to be repeated in 2025. Passeio Geek promises a weekend immersed in geek and pop culture. It is a free event that features more than 50 attractions for all ages.

Organized and publicized through social networks, its main attractions are:
