An event with three free concerts will mark the launch of the band's new EP Calm down. Entitled “Social Invisible”, the work will be officially launched on Thursday (8), on the stage of Célula Showcase, a well-known underground stronghold in Florianópolis. In addition to the host band, the event will feature Pogo Zero Zero and Soco HC. Tickets can already be purchased in advance on the website bit.ly/ingressopachorra. 

With sharp lyrics and raw energy, Pachorra's new work is a direct cry against the multiple forms of oppression that permeate everyday life. According to the band, the EP proposes a visceral sound, committed to social criticism and the strength of collectivity, establishing the band as one of the most powerful voices in the region's hardcore punk scene.

It is worth noting that the Showcase Cell is located at Rodovia João Paulo, number 75, in the João Paulo neighborhood, in Florianópolis.

Calm down

With DudZ on drums, Lelo on guitar, Menna on bass and Pogo on vocals, the band went into the studio for the first time at the end of August 2021, to shape their first composition started virtually during the pandemic. Since then, work has not stopped and the band has gained more and more space in the Greater Florianópolis scene.

Trio of attractions

The launch celebration will also feature two guest bands that promise to set the stage on fire alongside Pachorra. One of them is Pogo Zero Zero, from São José, which also has a fast-paced and pulsating sound. The other is Soco HC, from the city of Barra Velha, with direct hardcore and lyrics that address struggle and revolt.

Cultural project

The EP launch project will continue with new schedules. On June 28th, the party will be at Cervejaria Bertol, on August 1st, the stage will be Beco, in São José, and on September 13th, the schedule will end at Haôma Baixo Centro, in Florianópolis. The project is carried out with resources from the Federal Government, through the Aldir Blanc National Policy, in partnership with the Government of the State of Santa Catarina and the Catarinense Foundation of Culture (FCC).
