Music, education and interactivity guide the show by the band Astronave de Papel, scheduled for this Saturday (1st)

A multicultural show that combines music, education, and interactivity. That's what the Palhoça-based band's performance will be like. Paper Spaceship this Saturday (1st), during the Cine Play DayThis event brings together cultural attractions, sports, and activities for the whole family. The venue for this celebration is Celebrate Park, formerly New Time, in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz. The show brings to the stage the universe of the characters from... Junior's Class, who star in various educational stories.

The band Astronave de Papel focuses on original songs that offer lessons about health, education, and various other topics. In addition, the show features some original versions of children's songs. An eclectic repertoire for children and adults, with a performance lasting approximately one hour. 

In addition to the musicians, the show features characters from Turma do Júnior and an entertainer who guides the audience in a light and engaging way. Colorful and vibrant, the band brings to the stage compositions that delve into a universe of imagination, affection, and learning.

Scheduled for 14 PM, the show captures the essence of Cine Play Day, an event with a wide-ranging program not only for children, but for the whole family. 

For example: in addition to cultural activities, the event will feature sports workshops, including tennis, volleyball, and basketball. All of them will be led by teachers and monitors trained to encourage children's enjoyment. There will also be magic shows, hip-hop performances, inflatable toys, and other surprises.

 “Cine Play is a themed restaurant that focuses on complete experiences. And, on that day, the focus will be on families. Our show appeals to all ages because we believe that music is a link between generations,” he explains. Luiz Maffei, bassist, composer and music producer of the group.

Repertoire

Astronave de Papel's repertoire includes songs about friendship and human values, as well as healthy eating and social interaction. Through creative compositions, these themes emerge with language accessible to all ages. And the best part: through music. 

Among the highlights in the repertoire are "Rational Orange", "Fruit salad" e "Friendly Tomato", which address the topic of food in a fun way. 

Others, like "Elegant Elephant", "Little birds" e "Paper Spaceship"They encourage affection and respect.

One of the highlights is "Lioness's Strength", a sensitive and captivating song, in homage to mothers. There is also "Check My Baby", which is part of a global awareness campaign that has already surpassed 25 million views in more than 40 countries and draws attention to the prevention of accidents involving children. 

Music, art and education

A Paper Spaceship It was born from encounters between musicians passionate about art and education. The group is formed by Marcos MarFlui (voice and composition), Luiz Maffei (low), Greg MarFlui (guitar), Zé Martins (guitar), Bira Blues (harmonica), Henrique Heskova (guitar) and André Jelly (drums).

Despite their diverse backgrounds in music, the members share the purpose of using art as a tool for transformation. "Music brings fathers together, sons together, everyone together—and when it has a good and educational message, it's even better," comments Zé Martins.

A poetic name

Name Paper Spaceship It originated from a fond memory of Marcos MarFlui, while he was cradling his granddaughter: “I started telling the story of a kite made of bamboo, string, and paper. The melody emerged along with the story, and when I showed it to Maffei, he created the final poem.”

For Maffei, the name evokes imagination and the desire to fly: "It reminds me of the paper airplanes we used to make in school — a symbol of childhood and creativity," he argues.

This playful essence permeates the band's repertoire, which features songs about coexistence, games, and feelings, always with positive messages.
