Inclusive lecture and free show mark the beginning of a cultural project at Haôma Baixo Centro

The program for the project "Intercultural Encounters: from the island of Cape Verde to Ilha da Magia" begins next Saturday (4) and continues until the end of May

Next Saturday (4), the Haôma Lower Center will open the doors to a double event that marks the beginning of an innovative multicultural project. It's the beginning of the project schedule"Intercultural Encounters: from the island of Cape Verde to Ilha da Magia", an initiative approved via the Paulo Gustavo D+ Law and with the financial support of the Catarinense Culture Foundation (FCC). The proposal is to bring cultural intersections between these two distant islands.

From 17pm onwards, the public will have the opportunity to participate in the lecture "Principles of tuning string instruments", taught by renowned musician and producer Leonardo Daniel. This didactic and immersive experience will include musicalization principles and will be accessible to all audiences, including people with intellectual and sensory disabilities.

"It's an honor to participate in this project and share knowledge about instrument regulation. It will be an immersive teaching experience and I hope to be able to help those just starting out in the world of music", argues Leonardo.

At 20pm, in the same place, the musician Nilêra will take the stage with the show "The Soul of the Coastal Man", a presentation that promises to feature special guests and bring the essence of Santa Catarina Island. The night promises to be a celebration of art and culture, bringing together sounds and traditions from different places.

One of the striking characteristics of this event is the commitment to inclusion. To ensure that everyone has access to the cultural experience, resources such as noise dampers and the presence of an attitudinal mediator will be offered, making the environment welcoming for people with visual, hearing, intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.

The project will continue with weekly events throughout the month of May, all held at Haôma Baixo Centro. Tickets are free and can be obtained via the website https://encurtador.com.br/fjvL9 (show) and https://encurtador.com.br/mqKQU (lecture).
