Parklet is a delay

A bill by councilor Ed is still being processed in the City Council, in the hands of colleague Lino Peres from the Public Works and Urbanism Commission. But the idea entitled “parklet” went to the streets without approval from the plenary. They want to transform parking spaces in the blue zone, already quite difficult for users to find, into decks or lounges, as has already been done on one of the busiest corners of the city center that crosses Osmar Cunha. An absurdity that must be revoked by the Commission before the work being built by a local bakery is ready. It will further piss off central (i)mobility. The project may be used in public places and squares, but not in the city's meager parking lots.

immobile parklet

Councilman Ed should participate in the workshop that IPUF is holding this week to create the Mobility Plan to make the city more sustainable. He would learn that we can't hurt traffic any more than he's already putting decks in place of parking spaces.

eleven of the strong

Today is the 11th of 11th. It would be a good day for the PP, who carries the number eleven on his back and chest, to announce at 11:11 am that he is out of Dilma's government. Imagine the face of PT members who have always thrashed the Arena and the PDS, now being despised by the youngest son called the Progressive Party.

Efficiency where?

Speaking about the PP, federal deputy Esperidião Amin wants to institute the National Efficiency Plan in the public sector. To end the lack of answers from the legislative, executive and judiciary powers that do not give convincing answers when questioned by society. Especially when it comes to paralyzed public works, such as the Contorno Viário da Grande Floripa.

By the way

Editorial of the magazine O Empreiteiro, addressed to public bodies, calls on engineering entities to comment on the infinity of paralyzed works by the Federal Government. In fact, what has become the rule.

Rock bottom

While the works and the country are at a standstill, the National Congress continues its usual farce. And with higher costs. This year alone, the 81 senators and 513 federal deputies will cost the public coffers R$9,2 billion. And they keep asking where to get money to pay off the debt... well, well!

jazz in spring

The Emporium Jazz ended with a golden key and a top class last Saturday with the duo Renato Negão, from Costelaria Ponta d'Agulha, and Sandra Stuart, from the Quatro Estações restaurant chain on the stove in the gourmet kitchen, serving the famous polenta with ragout. rib. Sommelier Rodrigo de Freitas presented award-winning labels from the Terrazas de Los Andes winery, to the sound of Cassio Moura Trio and the house DJ, doctor Paulo Zeni, with the most complete jazz collection distributed to friends who came to honor Serginho Arruda. Now only next year... until then!

JKB

Former senator Jorge Bornhausen, alongside his eternal Dulcinha, led a colorful and chatty group at the dance floor on Saturday at the Emporium. It is impressive how he receives compliments, always followed by criticism of the current government from his interlocutors.

Aerial bridge

Banda Aérea Instrumental lands on the stage of the 12:30 Project this Wednesday, on campus. Free presentation open to the community will be on the Varandão of the Ufsc Communication and Expression Center.
