More 100

“Tomorrow will be the first day of our next 100 years.” This is how President Sander DeMira opened the speech celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Florianópoplis, in a CIC theater with more than a thousand people remembering actions for the city's development, such as the arrival of the Banco do Brasil branch, the television stations, the construction of the Hercílio Luz bridge and the expansion and internationalization of the airport. What is expected is that it will not take another 100 years of struggle so that both the bridge and the airport, named after former governor Hercílio Luz, continue to be neglected as objects of use and beautification of the Capital. This way we can celebrate another 100 with a bridge and airport and, no, mourn the city without them.

Acif's 100th anniversary ceremony, honoring several figures from the city, filled the CIC theater. Many present, of course, went to see the “tremendous” Erasmo Carlos show. And many others left early to watch the classic, like publicist Roberto Costa to support Figueirense and businessman Rafael Kuerten to support Avaí.

Rafael Kuerten did very well representing his champion brother, one of those honored by Acif on Wednesday night, at the CIC. As a bonus, he was wearing a tie with green Hall of Fame logos, a gift from Guga when he received the distinction in the United States.

Reading by two influential advertisers from the Capital in a circle at Café Matisse about the direction of the Santa Catarina government's advertising accounts is likely to undergo significant changes after the death of Luiz Henrique da Silveira. It’s not just in politics, no! He even has an orphan “godson” with a flea behind his ear.

Big Boss

Former secretary of state, journalist Darly Anunciação says that now all he thinks about is enjoying his family. But this week he received an invitation that left him thoughtful, to say the least. He would have the responsibility of taking over the general management of the RIC Record Group, which intends to gradually remove the Petrelli brothers from administrative command, just as the Sirotsky family did.

By the way

It is not just the RBS holding style that the RIC group seeks to imprint on its businesses, bringing together radio, newspapers and TV. But also in the family. It is no surprise that publicist Ricardo Bornhausen often calls the superintendent of the RIC Record Group Marcello Sirotsky. And vice versa: Pedrinho Petrelli.

Hunt

Hunting day, hunter's day. Because the Avaiano player Marquinhos, who started the Figueira team at Ressacada, remained silent at Scarpelli. There it was another Marquinhos who called the shots... the captain of Figueira.

By the way

A lot of things start with a splash. Victories and defeats often also start with bullets... or with the ball. This is the case of Corinthians, former president Lula's team that is out of the Copa Libertadores. And who knows, perhaps one less piece on the board of Boliviarism.

Splash

The Lava Jato operation called for the breaking of the banking secrecy of Fernando Collor, Renan Calheiros and João Pizzolatti. The latter, a former federal deputy from Santa Catarina, could have an impact not only on his family, but also on his party.
