Child capital

Those who have children and live in Floripa can enjoy more satisfaction, according to a survey by Delta Economics & Finance, published by Exame magazine, pointing out the Capital as the best city in the country to raise children. With almost half a million inhabitants and the third best Human Development Index (IDHM) in Brazil, an indicator of income, longevity, health and education, the Ministry of Health recognized the municipality as the best capital in the country in primary care. Last year, health units in Florianópolis provided almost 1,5 million visits to the population in its 49 health centers, four polyclinics and two 24-hour Emergency Care Units. Specifically in the case of children, the focus of the research, the Health Department has the Capital Criança program as its flagship.

Parada

This week Elephant Parade opened the call for artists from Santa Catarina interested in customizing the sculptures for the exhibition, which will take place in Florianópolis (SC) at the end of the year. Anyone, whether adult or child, can apply. The only requirement is that you know how to execute the proposed art. Entries must be made through the website www.elephantparade.com.br by April 30th. This will be the first time the Elephant Parade will be held in Latin America. The show hits the streets of the state capital in November.

The show takes place this Friday, the 13th, at 21 pm, at TAC.

Amoroso

Tati Monteiro and Rodrigo Pinheiro, having been successful in Rio de Janeiro, will present their first CD with compositions that talk about love in all its forms next Friday, at TAC.

Tati and Rodrigo met in 2010 at ESPM, in Rio de Janeiro. Between one job and another, during the course, they began to exchange musical experiences. It was there, too, that they met Claudio Mazza, an important producer and arranger, professor of sound production. From then on, they started to play together at night in Rio and Friday in their hometown, Floripa.

city ​​museum

The restoration work of the old Casa de Câmara e Cadeia, in the center of the Capital, is moving at a fast pace and should be ready in March of next year. According to the director of the Florianópolis Public Works Department, Fernanda Driessen, the investment is approximately R$ 7 million and the museum will be under the command of SESC.

Bike

The Florianópolis Urban Planning Institute (IPUF) is responsible for designing the bike path that began to be built by Shopping Iguatemi on Avenida Madre Benvenuta. A stretch of 1.250 meters that goes from Campus da Udesc to Avenida Beira-mar. Floripa has 25 km of bike paths and 32 km of bike lanes. So another kilometer is very welcome.

Surfer

In a meeting with the presence of the mayor of Palhoça, Camilo Martins, representatives of the residents and surfing associations of Guarda do Embaú and family members of the murdered surfer, Ricardinho dos Santos, officialized the government's support for the tragic event of this season. The mayor's idea was to consult Ricardinho's family to find out the best way to record his history forever. But the surfer's mother, Dona Rico, wants a statue of a surfer with a board under his arm.
