Integrating the regular course schedule of the Red House in 2019, the Clowning Workshop aims to stimulate the individual's contact with their naive and ridiculous aspects, which are normally hidden in everyday life. Its main objective is to relate these aspects (ridiculous and naive) with the viewer in a collective environment.
The workshop also aims to: encourage a relationship of trust between the group and promote an environment of relaxation and spontaneity through games and activities; awaken the body to the scenic game through body exercises, which enable a state of attention and spontaneity suitable for the work and experience essential principles for clowning work such as sincerity, dedication, direct relationship with the audience.
The practical work of experimentation is the basis of the course, although a theoretical framework and discussions based on it are also worked on. Practical work will be exercised through body exercises, games and games, personal exposure activities, awareness raising and scenic improvisations.
