Workshop How to Deal with Strong Emotions!

We live in turbulent times. We have to deal with the stress of hectic life, pressures at work, demands in the family environment. A survey found that 61% of people consider themselves impatient, and 47% of respondents said anger has already created problems at work or in personal relationships. According to Mental Health Foundation (UK), 1 in 5 young people say they have difficulty dealing with their anger. The consequences and damage caused by anger are not pleasant at all, they affect health, profession and human relationships.

But it is possible to learn to deal with this emotion in a healthy way, without suffocating it and without exploding or losing control. It is necessary to become aware of its causes, perceive and measure anger, and give new meaning to facts and events. Only in this way will it be possible to develop emotional intelligence to manage anger, make the necessary changes and regain well-being and balance.

In this workshop Patrícia Santos addresses the following topics: What is Anger: emotion or feeling? The difference between irritation, anger, rage and fury. Myths about anger. How to notice the warning signs of anger? Why are we angry? Anger Management: What we can do to deal with anger in a healthy way. Reframing exercises. How to block toxic thoughts.
