Exhibition Engravings, by Glauco Rodrigues

O Victor Meirelles Museum celebrates its patron's birthday with the opening of the exhibition Engravings by Glauco Rodrigues. All 25 works in the exhibition are works recently donated to the Victor Meirelles Museum by Glauco's widow, Norma de Estellita Pessôa. The artist, who was born in Bagé, in Rio Grande do Sul, died in 2004, in Rio de Janeiro, where he had lived since 1958.

The exhibition brings together works, mostly screen prints and lithographs, produced by Glauco between 1970 and 1993 and which represent a brief section of the artist's work, revealing his multiple facets as a painter, draftsman, engraver, illustrator and set designer.
