O Shopping itaguaçu holds another Craft Collective with various items produced by artisans from Greater Florianópolis on the 3rd to 4th of August. The project was created to encourage local production, which is so important these days, in addition to boosting the region's creative economy by offering a variety of items to customers.
The fair takes place on the L2 floor, during the mall's opening hours: on Saturday, from 10am to 22pm, and on Sunday, from 12pm to 20pm, with free access and open to the public, who can purchase various items such as women's accessories, amigurumis , reborn babies, crochet bags, sweets, soaps, candles, Kokedamas and Terrariums.
The creative economy plays a vital role for local producers, as it transforms creativity, talent and innovation into financial potential. It offers opportunities for generating income and sustainable growth, taking advantage of the region's own cultural and intellectual resources. Not only does it stimulate the production of unique goods and services, it also strengthens cultural identity. “Furthermore, by fostering entrepreneurship and collaboration between different sectors, it contributes to the creation of new markets and the development of communities that are more resilient and adaptable to global changes”, says Rafael Oliveira, the venture's Marketing coordinator.
