This year the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, performs the 68th edition of the Feast of the Holy Spirit. The traditional celebration will take place this weekend (4th, 5th and 6th) and will have numerous attractions for the community throughout the day. And an unprecedented initiative that is already moving the faithful is “Os Pequenos do Divino”. The action aims to awaken in the new generations the love and devotion to the Holy Spirit, perpetuate the religious tradition in the community and value the mission of the flags that have kept this expression of faith alive for decades.
The proposal involved children from the Initiation to Christian Life, the NSF Choir and the Altar Boys of the Sanctuary, who carry out visits with the Divininho Flag to the homes of family, neighbors and friends, bringing blessings, prayers and the presence of the Divine.
More than a symbolic gesture, the action seeks to encourage homes to open their doors to visits from Bandeira do Divino and Divininho, reinforcing the sense of welcome, spirituality and continuity of tradition.
This year's Divine Feast at the Sanctuary of Fátima has Adriano and Letícia Silva as the Emperor Couple. On Sunday night, during Holy Mass, the new Emperor Couple will be announced.
