Guitarist Felipe Coelho - considered one of the names of the new generation of Brazilian guitar and jazz - takes the stage at the Ademir Rosa Theater, at the Centro Integrado de Cultura (CIC), in Florianópolis, to present the show “Creative Sessions”. The concert is part of the launch tour of the artist's most recent original work, and is now available on Spotify. The free performance will be on July 23, at 20:30 pm, and tickets can be purchased on the Sympla website.
The “Creative Sessions” project is an album made up of hip-hop, Brazilian music and Afro-jazz. On stage, a power trio formed by Felipe on guitar and vocals, Tiê Pereira on bass and Rodrigo Porciuncula on drums. In addition to them, a brass section formed by Gabriel Barbalho (trumpet), Maycon de Souza (saxophone) and Elio Vistel (saxophone) will also be on stage. The composition conveys the urban and modern spirit of the work, without giving up the instrumental density and rhythmic ancestry.
The tour will also pass through Araranguá, Concordia, Itajaí, Joaçaba, Jaraguá do Sul, Joinville, Lages, São Francisco do Sul, Tubarão and São Bento do Sul. In addition to the tour through Santa Catarina, another show is also scheduled for São Paulo.
