Next Saturday (5), the Bridge Fanfare will hold a special presentation at 10pm, at Municipal School Mancio Costa, in the Ratones neighborhood. Organized by the Cachola de Bernunça Cultural Association, through the Culture Incentive Program (PIC) of the State of Santa Catarina and supported by Celesc, the event promises to bring a vibrant musical spectacle to the community, celebrating culture and instrumental music. The presentation is open to the public and guarantees plenty of entertainment, joy and fun, in addition to promoting social and cultural integration among the residents of the region.
About the Bridge Fanfare
Fanfarra da Ponte was born during Carnival 2020 with a small group of musicians who, with the desire to color and rock the streets of Florianópolis, took their banner and procession through the city center. In 2022, the Fanfarra da Ponte Study Center was created to teach wind and percussion instruments. Fanfarra da Ponte and the students from the Center performed at Carnival in 2023 and 2024 with their own arrangements of Brazilian music repertoire.
