The Cultural Expedition Festival, by the Instituto Trilhas de Criança, combines nature, science, and art this Sunday, November 09th, from 09 am to 18 pm, at Parque Córrego Grande, in Florianópolis. Admission is free.
The event will bring together nationally recognized artists, scientists, educators, and environmental projects, such as... Tamar project, R3Animal, Fauna Brazil Institute, Meros do Brasil, Campeche Island Heritage, among others.
Focused on environmental education and awakening childhood, it functions as a laboratory of enchantment and outdoor learning.
It has the support of the Federal Government – Paulo Gustavo Law, the Government of the State of Santa Catarina, through the Santa Catarina Cultural Foundation, the PNAB – Aldir Blanc National Policy and the Santa Catarina Cultural Circuit.
Special and free programming
The program is for the whole family and brings together sensory trails, creative workshops, plays, exhibitions, old games e outdoor children's film festival.
In addition, there will be earth paint, a reading nest for babies, and the pieces. Silly Otter, A Little Bird Told Me e Enchanted Islandin addition to the children's film festival featuring award-winning works such as The Girl and the Tree, Aurora Street, Forest e Trash Island.
It will also have photographic exhibition by the artist Mara Freire, which collected three years of records from the Cineclube Trilhas de Criança (Children's Trails Film Club), and the clay space, where children can freely mold nature in their hands.
