The ciranda, a popular dance in Northeast Brazil and traditional child's play, is the inspiration for the Cirandar show, by Grupo Cultural Roda Viva. The play, which is part of the Domingo é Dia de Teatro project, is filled with traditional songs, such as “Loja do Mestre André” and the tale of “Dona Baratinha”, with the presence of the characters of the songs to play with the public. In the show, the audience gets to know a little more about elements of Brazilian popular culture, such as Boi de papaya and Afoxé.
