the extension program VivaVoz – from the Arts Center (Ceart) da University of the State of Santa Catarina (Udesc) – promotes voice week, an artistic-academic event in line with World Voice Day – celebrated annually on April 16th by the Brazilian Society of Speech Therapy. The event has a certificate of participation and is held on the premises of the Performing Arts (DAC) and Music (DMU) departments at Udesc.
The schedule includes lectures, shows and experiences around subjects related to the diversity of vocal expression, illustrating its different fields – performance, techniques, pedagogy, theoretical studies, health, among others. The objective of the event is to provide students and the community with a diverse program with professionals linked to the voice who reside and develop work in the city of Florianópolis, inside and outside the University.
