The partnership between Arnaldo Antunes, Carlinhos Brown and Marisa Monte not only solidified but gave rise, last year, to a new album. And to celebrate the pleasure of this union, the trio now announces their long-awaited first tour.
Aware of the technological transformations that have occurred over the last few years, two weeks before the official release of the last Tribalistas album, in August last year, Marisa Monte, Arnaldo Antunes and Carlinhos Brown surprised the public with an online presentation, in which they advanced four new songs. The simultaneous live broadcast took place on the fan page of the three artists and was accompanied by 5,62 million followers in 52 countries, including Brazil, all of Latin America, the United States, France, Spain, Japan, Russia and even Pakistan.
Success was immediate. According to data from Spotify, the release of the four singles had the best performance within the MPB category since the platform arrived in Brazil in 2014. All entered the Spotify Top 100 and there was a 65% increase in the group's monthly listeners. Considering only the age group from 23 to 27 years old, the growth was 73%.
