The festival, also called the festival of the stars, honors the 120 years of friendship between Brazil and Japan. For two days, the program will include presentations and demonstrations of Japanese arts, such as Taiko (Japanese drums), Bom Odori (Japanese dance), Bonsai, Tea Ceremony, martial arts, among others.
In addition, workshops on Origami, Manga, Kirigami (paper cutting), Nihongo (Japanese writing) and more.
