For more than a year, in a new format now in a trio that integrates the Bahians, Édi Castro on the zabumba, cousin Giliarde on the accordion, on the triangle and vocals, the brother Éder Castro, bringing the accent and a diverse repertoire, of the authentic forró pé de Serra northeastern.
The group is inspired by big names in forró pé de Serra, such as Dominguinhos, Alceu Valença, Elba Ramalho, Santana, Flávio José, Falamansa, Rastapé, Trios like Nordestino, Virgulino, Forrozão, among others and the main one among all these big names, Rei do Baião Luiz Gonzaga. Victor Castro.
The Coletivo de Forró Catarina was created in 2018 with the purpose of creating and strengthening a unity among the musicians of the genre, providing more and more joy to the forró scene on the island of Santa Catarina.
Most of the forró bands from Florianópolis are part of the Collective, where every Friday, at 22 pm, some of the bands of the collective perform.
