Shopping Itaguaçu is preparing for one of the most anticipated events in the region: the 35th Dance Festival, which takes place from September 19th to 22nd and welcomes spring. Registration is open and runs until August 20th, with groups and schools from Santa Catarina, especially São José and Greater Florianópolis, able to participate. Places are limited, therefore, they may be closed before the scheduled date, where it is necessary to fill out the form and send the documents requested on the website festivalshoppingitaguacu.com.br.
The event expects to welcome approximately 4.300 attendees this year, an increase from last year's 4.100 attendees, reflecting the growth and popularity of the event. The presentations will be in the outdoor area of Shopping Itaguaçu, close to access 1, providing a pleasant and accessible environment for all participants.
The Shopping Itaguaçu Dance Festival is a non-competitive celebration that highlights talents from groups and dance schools in the State of Santa Catarina, especially the City of São José and the Greater Florianópolis Region, and promotes relaxation and interaction between participants and the public, celebrating the beginning of spring in style. “The event has become a true milestone for our community over these three and a half decades. Since its inception, it has been much more than just a series of dance performances, it represents a space for unity, artistic expression and celebrations of the cultural diversity of our region. Over the years, we have seen thousands of dancers, from children to seniors, take the stage to share their passions and talents. This event provided unforgettable moments not only for the participants, but also for the public who, year after year, gathers to honor and support the dance”, says Rafael Oliveira, marketing coordinator at Shopping Itaguaçu.

- Junior: 11 the 15 years
- Senior: 16 to 18 years old
- Adult: From 19 years old
- Third Age: Freestyle choreography
