
The Children's Film Festival Film Club takes place every Saturday at 16 pm at the Gilberto Gerlach Cinema, in the Integrated Culture Center (CIC). Admission to the sessions is free and on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to the venue's capacity of 137 seats). The initiative is supported by the Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina (MIS/SC) and the Santa Catarina Culture Foundation (FCC).

Spark (by Luca Tarti and Paulo Lima, SP, animation, 2021, 5 min): A bird from a painting in a museum comes to life and sets off on a journey flying through other works, until it finds a lonely tree and transforms its reality.
The best sound in the world (by Pedro Paulo de Andrade, fiction, SP, 2015, 13 min): Vinicius doesn't collect stickers, cars or comic books. He collects something that can't be seen or touched. Vinicius collects sounds from around the world. But this isn't an easy task, especially when he decides to find the best of all: the best sound in the world. In his search, Vinicius will discover that the best sound in the world is much closer than expected.
My queen (by Cecília Amado, fiction, RJ, 2008, 11 min): It's Carnival night in Rio de Janeiro, and the children's samba schools are getting ready to take to the Avenue. Little Joseane sees her dream of being a flag bearer come crashing down when she discovers that no one can find her banner. Alone in her world, Joseane mentally reviews all the expectations created around this moment. We dive into her private universe to discover how a child can perceive images, sounds, and time.
Salu and the seahorse (by Cecília da Fonte, animation, PE, 2014, 14 min): The film tells the story of Mestre Salustiano, one of the most famous popular artists in Brazil. Son of the rabequeiro João Salustiano, Salu dreams from an early age of joining a Cavalo-Marinho group, a typical festival of the region where he lives.
Boys and Kings (by Gabriela Romeu, documentary, SP, 2016 16 min): In one of the most popular festivities in the Cariri region of Ceará, the clown paints his face black, children learn to play sword with skill and girls grow up as queens. But Maria, the queen of one of the most traditional kingdoms in the region, is in her last year of reign and faces the drama of passing the crown to her younger sister, experiencing a true rite of passage.
