On July 9th (Wednesday), at 20pm, the Sesc Prainha Theater receives the concert “Caiçara Suite”, with free admission and all ages. The show, which is part of the Sesc Theater Network, features Duo Backer, guitarist Thales Nunes and a special appearance by bassist Ricardo Moura.
Inspired by the Caiçara fandango — a cultural manifestation of coastal communities in the south and southeast of Brazil — the concert combines original compositions, arrangements for two guitars and voice, as well as elements of contemporary concert music. The repertoire includes tracks from the albums Cantiga (2014) and Suíte Caiçara (2019), stitched together by narratives that reveal the creative process and cultural references behind the works.
As a social entry, the public is invited to donate personal hygiene items, which will be given to children and adolescents served by the Novos Caminhos Program, of the Court of Justice of Santa Catarina.
