Two works that have spanned centuries and remain relevant today will meet on the stage of the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC) on March 18th at 20:30 pm. The Camerata Florianópolis, under the direction of maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, will present Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven and Violin Concerto No. 1 by Max Bruch, with a solo by violinist Juan Rossi.
In a performance that brings together two emblematic pieces from the symphonic repertoire, the show highlights Beethoven's strength, with profound notes that reveal the musician's emotional journey, representing everything from tragedy (C minor) to triumphant victory (C major). Meanwhile, Bruch's concerto, one of the most celebrated works in the violin repertoire, balances technical virtuosity and expressive lyricism, in melodies that seem to take on a voice of their own.
The presentation is made possible by the Ministry of Culture through the Cultural Incentive Law, with sponsorship from Fort Atacadista and Engie, and production direction by Maria Elita Pereira.
