From June 4 to 8, Florianópolis will be transformed into a true Buenos Aires ballroom with the XNUMXth Tango Biennial, one of the country's main events of its kind. The program celebrates tango culture through classes, dances, artistic performances and gastronomic experiences, bringing together prominent names from the international scene and participants from different countries.
With activities aimed at diverse audiences, the Biennial includes everything from free attractions to an international show at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC). The agenda also includes dances with live orchestras, the traditional Tango Ballroom and Tango Stage Championships, as well as masterclasses with renowned teachers — among them, the 2024 world champions, Sebastian Martinez and Ayelen Morando.
The Jorge Joaquim Daux Boabaid Events Center in Canasvieiras will be the main meeting point for the event and the stage for the milongas. The official opening of the Biennial, however, will be at Top Market Floripa on the 4th at 19 pm, and will feature a performance by the Tango Bardo Orchestra, marking the beginning of the activities.
