The Camerata Florianópolis officially opens the 2026 classical music season with a concert on February 7th at 20:30 PM at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC) in Florianópolis. Tickets are available for purchase on the Blueticket website. The performance, conducted by maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, will also feature solos by violinist Elias Vicente Souza and soprano Carla Domingues, promising the audience a musical journey through different eras and styles.
With a varied repertoire, the concert brings together works from different eras, ranging from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods to contemporary Brazilian music. The program includes compositions by Georg Friedrich Händel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giuseppe Verdi, Antonín Dvořák, and the Brazilian composer Edino Krieger.
One of the highlights is Krieger's Concerto for Violin and String Orchestra, performed by violinist Elias in a rendition that combines virtuosity and lyrical sensitivity. Soprano Carla interprets renowned arias from the operatic repertoire, such as "Caro nome" from Giuseppe Verdi's opera Rigoletto, showcasing dramatic intensity and vocal refinement.
The presentation, with production direction by Maria Elita Pereira, is made possible through sponsorship from Fort Atacadista and Engie, through the Federal Law for Cultural Incentive, Ministry of Culture and Federal Government.
