“Cels and them – theatrical disassembly about women and prisons” is the presentation of VAI! Coletivo, which arrives virtually in Florianópolis, for performances on November 26th and 27th, at 19pm, followed by a chat and screening of the exhibition Para Além das Celas on the website www.vaicoletivo.com. The broadcast of the play, in turn, will be on the cultural space channel Red House on YouTube.
cells and they is a “disassembly” of the play @celas that circulated throughout the State until 2014. Five years later, it gained new life from the experiences provided by the project “Theatre with women deprived of liberty”, carried out by Samira and Daiane Dordete – director and responsible for the dramaturgy of the show – together with the re-educated women from the Joinville Regional Prison. Thus, Samira represents many women, prisoners or not, who feel imprisoned in some way.
