The Ópera na Tela project, which brings to the Paradigma Cine Arte cinema the exhibition of operas in cinematographic versions. The first exhibition in February is Dom Giovanni, which has an original composition by Wolfgang A. Mozart (1756 – 1797). Directed by Ivo van Hovei.
Synopsis: Even having supposedly seduced an endless list of women, Don Giovanni fails in his advances with Donna Anna, Zerlina and Donna's maid Elvira. He is presented here as a mythomaniac, who resorts more to power, intimidation and force than to seduction.
