the musical comedy My Destiny is to be a Star – To the Sound of Lulu Santos makes reference to the well-known phrase from the hit song “Desuddenly, California” from the album Tempos Modernos, from 1982. With an explanatory title, the production will take a dive into the 45-year career of the carioca where around 40 hits will serve as a link to a plot fictional, but very real, about the search for stardom in musicals.
On stage, a cast of 10 actors formed by Jéssica Ellen, Myra Ruiz, Gabriel Falcão, Helga Nemeczyk, Victor Maia, Carol Botelho, Marina Palha, Mateus Ribeiro, Ana Elisa Schumacher and Leo Senna will show the public the entire construction of the genre in theater , from the auditions, the anxieties and the achievements, until reaching the common point of realizing the dream, a desire shared among the actors in this increasingly competitive market.
