O Polyphonia Khoros was founded in Florianópolis in 2000 by teacher Mercia Mafra Ferreira, and has an intense concert history, with more than 400 performances made in these 15 years of activities in its trajectory.
Its repertoire is extremely diversified, such as: opera, sacred music and complete works for choir and orchestra, choir and piano, Brazilian popular music with arrangements for choir “a cappella”, music from Santa Catarina and a wide variety of traditional choir repertoire.
The concert at the Circo features a program that brings together pieces of Brazilian folk and popular music, set for a choir “a cappella”.
