A Island String Orchestra presents a concert with its soloists performing songs by Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann and Villa-Lobos, among others. The show is supported by Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (FCC). The Orquestra de Cordas da Ilha aims to provide musical education, encouraging the study of classical and popular music and audience formation. Didactic concerts are promoted addressing the richness of orchestral music and the importance of classical instruments in this universe.
