Inspired by the short stories by Franklin Cascaes, Trace elements features a fishing village overrun by witches. The strange presence is only noticed when the residents are on the verge of possession, generating a clash that can only be ended with the decision of the fisherman in love with one of the witches.
The piece is a tribute to the 32 years since the researcher's death, and is edited by ballroom, jazz, contemporary and ballet choreographies. The audience is involved in the Azorean traditions through interactivity, sound, visual and olfactory effects.
