Valentine's Weekend – João de Barro Restaurant

On Friday, the restaurant Rufous Hornero prepares a special and romantic dinner that precedes Valentine's Day with a live show by musician Ana Luiza and Luca (vocals, piano/guitar). There are four options on the menu for the evening, for the couple to choose from:

Option 1: House Couvert: hot rolls accompanied by gorgonzola pastes, eggplant, tartar sauce, seasoned butter and olives; Talharim João de Barro (two people, can be prepared gluten-free): crepe noodles with cream and parmesan cheese au gratin, served with chicken breast or filet mignon with wood sauce; João de Barro Cake: mini cake stuffed with cream ice cream, special frosting of dulce de leche mousse covered with pieces of meringues; two glasses of house dry red wine.

Option 2: Shrimp João de Barro (two people, can be prepared gluten-free): shrimp sautéed in white wine with fresh mushrooms and crepe noodles in three flavors- sepia, spinach and pepper; João de Barro Cake: mini cake stuffed with cream ice cream, frosting
dulce de leche mousse special topped with pieces of meringues; two glasses of house dry red wine.

Option 3: Cheese Fondue (gluten-free): Emmenthal and Gruyere cheese fondue, accompanies hot rolls, apple, turkey sausage, mushrooms, pine nuts, gnocchi, guava, broccoli, quail eggs, carrots and boiled potatoes; Extra grilled meats: filet mignon (150 grams.) and chicken (150 grams.) cut into “cubes” accompany five homemade sauces; two glasses of house dry red wine.

Option 4: Cheese Fondue (gluten-free): Emmenthal and Gruyere cheese fondue, accompanies hot rolls, apple, turkey sausage, mushrooms, pine nuts, gnocchi, guava, broccoli, quail eggs, carrots and boiled potatoes; Chocolate Fondue: served with seasonal fruits, marshmallows, carrot cake, walnuts and rice flakes; two glasses of house dry red wine.
