The event emerged in 2012 as an action of the Performance Laboratory extension program. This year, the Performative Week also counts with the co-realization of the extension programs Moinho – Pensamento em Movimento and Imagens Scenic, both from Udesc, from the Theater Poetics Research Group, also led by the institution, and from the Social Service of Commerce (Sesc ).
Three workshops will be offered during the Week: “Theatrical Training Practices: Viewpoints and the Suzuki Method”, with Fabiano Lodi; “Training for Dances with Large and Small Bodies – MamaDances”, with Eryn Trudell (CA); and “From Earth to Heaven: the vocal preparation of the contemporary performer”, with Paula Noelia Cianfagna and Massimiliano Buldrini (Italy).
