Synopsis:

Set in Salvador in 1825, it tells the story of young Muslims who are torn from their African homeland and enslaved in Brazil. Separated by cruel fate, they struggle to survive and find each other while experiencing the largest slave uprising in Brazilian history: the Malê Revolt.
