Widow Abla runs a bakery at her home in Casablanca, where she lives with her eight-year-old daughter Warda. However, her routine is interrupted by the arrival of Samia, a young pregnant woman looking for a job and housing. Abla didn't imagine that letting her in would change her life forever.
