Shelly, a young woman who dreams of becoming a brega singer, starts her career as a dancer in a band performing in nightclubs and local TV shows in Recife. Jaqueline, the band's veteran singer, is her inspiration and a possible mirror of her destiny. Inserted in a world where everything is disposable, such as success, love and the very city they inhabit, they live the difficult path in search of survival through art that seems to be their last resort in life.
