Milton is a young member of the Italian Resistance who decides to cross the Langhe region during World War II to investigate the whereabouts of an old girlfriend, Fulvia. Upon discovering that she was possibly involved with his best friend, Giorgio, Milton finds himself involved with marks from the past and tries to find him again in order to resolve his issues.
