The new adaptation of Stephen King's best-selling book of the same name takes place in Derry, Maine. The residents of the peaceful locality start to be scared when children start to mysteriously disappear, being found only parts of their bodies. Until a group of seven teenagers are forced to face one of their biggest fears and come face to face with the person responsible for the crimes: the clown Pennywise.
