Miguel is a 12 year old boy who dreams of becoming a professional musician with great renown. He watches his great idol over and over on television, and he aspires to become just as great. Miguel has to deal with the disapproval of his family, who don't believe in the possibility of his dream ever coming true. Determined to change the situation, the boy accidentally unleashes a series of supernatural events that link a 100-year-old mystery. The film is set in Mexico, and illustrates the traditional and curious feast of the Day of the Dead, which is widely celebrated in the country.
