Juca Valente is a seductive, but uncompromising man. One day, his American ex-girlfriend, Brenda, leaves little Emma, still a baby, with him. Desperate, Juca travels to the United States looking for Brenda with the hope of returning the child to her. His plan doesn't work out and he stays there, working as a stuntman. As soon as the girl turns six, the mother reappears to ask for custody of the child.
