The plot is based on the teen novel by Thalita Rebouças, and portrays the sweet and intense relationship of Maria Lourdes and Ângela Cristina and follows their lives from Malu's childhood to adolescence and independence. Told from the point of view of the two characters, the story addresses the main difficulties of motherhood in the first years of Malu's life, the first day at school, friendships, love discoveries and family problems.
