The paradisiacal Guarda do Embaú is a beach located on the border between Palhoça and Paulo Lopes, in Greater Florianópolis, 46 km from the south of Florianópolis.
Considered one of the main tourist attractions and very popular with surfers, it is the ninth World Surfing Reserve and the first in Brazil.
With calm waters and clear sand, it is known for its preserved nature, trails, and kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. It has inns, restaurants, and bars for those who want to visit the area.
