The small community has little commerce and services. The neighboring beaches, Ponta das Canas e Bom Jesus waterfall, the closest to Lagoinha, have a wide range of services. From restaurants, cafeterias and bars to supermarkets, convenience stores, newsstands, stationery stores, shopping centers, etc. It's quick to travel to one of these beaches by car, but bus liness are scarce (line 265 – Ponta das Canas and line D265 – Ponta das Canas). O executive transport it also reaches Lagoinha beach (line 1122). During the summer months, there are street vendors on the beach and a lifeguard station.
