Celebrated at the world's leading jazz festivals, French Rémi Panossian Trio performs for the first time in Florianópolis on November 30th. The show closes the 2019 season of the Concertos AF project, by Aliança Francesa Florianópolis, at Jazzin Late Night Bar, at Beiramar Shopping. In addition to the Capital, the group's tour goes through São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Campinas and Curitiba.
Formed by Rémi Panossian (piano), Maxime Delporte (double bass) and Frédéric Petitprez (drums), RP3 represents the avant-garde of jazz in France. He is recognized for the creative combination of jazz binary rock with pop and electro resonances. International critics evoke the group's work as a hybrid jazz, uniting the best of pop melodies with the raw energy of rock and the rhythmic, explosive groove. The trio started at the end of 2009. The first album, Add fiction, was released in 2011, the year in which it was voted Revelation of the Year by the prestigious French radio station TSF JAZZ!.
