This year, for the first time since 1932, schools will not compete on the avenue. That's why Brahma, known for its historic boxes during the festivities, doesn't let samba die and joins forces with TV Globo to bring historic performances from the main schools in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo to people's homes, in “ Parade Nº1 Brahma”. Thus, the public will choose which schools will be awarded great champions, one from each state.
The broadcast on TV Globo takes place in the early hours of Saturday (13), after Altas Horas and on Sunday (14), after Big Brother Brasil. The program will bring together the best moments of 28 parades that marked the history of the biggest popular festival in the world. 14 parades will be presented this Carnival Saturday and 14 on Sunday, in a tribute to the associations that are part of the culture and hearts of Brazilians.
