The traditional carnival block Onodi, which goes out through the streets of Campeche, is held on Carnival Sunday (23). The block path starts at Campeche Avenue and ends at the Church of São Sebastião, region where the state school is located.
And at Carnival 2020, Onodi makes a minute of silence during the parade in honor of Elenir de Siqueira Fontão, director of the Januária Teixeira da Rocha school who was murdered last Wednesday (19), inside the school where she worked.
Onodi is one of the most popular carnival groups in Florianópolis, especially in the south of the island. In its parade, 15 to 20 thousand people celebrate Carnival. Undoubtedly the biggest popular party in the neighborhood.
