The trio Erva Rasteira is one of the pioneers of forró in Santa Catarina. With 20 years of history, the band has gone through some formations with different musicians and the current group performs as a trio, a very common format in "pé-de-serra" and "raiz" forró works throughout Brazil. Henrique Soares, on vocals and zabumba, has been in the band since its inception, 1999. Gabriel de Bem, on triangle and vocals, has been with the trio for three years. The last member of the group is Marcelo Besen, an accordion player, who has been there since 2015, the year of the final formation, under the name “Erva Rasteira”. The trio plays with a cover repertoire and interprets forró pé de serra classics, by Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Alceu Valença and others, as well as reinterpretations of MPB and original songs. The band's work is guided by quality music and commitment to the public, in addition to competence and responsiveness.
