The band Fred Lee appeared in 2002 and rescues the great classics of national and international rock and hard rock from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Throughout these years, the band literally crossed Santa Catarina from end to end, also passing through Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná and Sao Paulo.
In 2009 and 2010, they opened for the legendary Joe Lynn Turner (former lead singer of Deep Purple, Rainbow and Malmsteen). The influences are from Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Nazareth, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Rush, The Who. Located in Córrego Grande, close to the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Chopp do Gus stands out for its cozy, tavern-style atmosphere and its exclusive decor, made up of paintings, caricatures, records and posters of rock celebrities. The place is very popular with young people, mainly because it is in a university neighborhood and contains live music, food and special cocktails in a single location. Establishing itself as a great place to eat well and enjoy a pleasant evening with the guys. On the menu, the exclusive portions with flambé dishes are successful; the alcoholic tip is the special drink of the house, the Diabo Verde, but drink it in moderation.
