O can-can is a typical Parisian dance, joyful and acrobatic. It had its origin in 1830 and at first it was only danced by ballerinas who disputed who had the highest leg. Over the years, the can-can had its technique improved, being incorporated to the Hall of dance classes. Athene Tamisier, a professional dancer in Brazil and abroad, is the teacher responsible for the classes.
